Note from the Author

As a Bible-college graduate, one of my main concerns is biblical womanhood -- not just what makes us feel good, but what we need to know. Because of this, some of my favorite authors over the years have been ladies who walked through passages of Scripture and led their readers on a path toward desiring God. (Martha Peace, Nancy Leigh DeMoss, and Elyse Fitzpatrick, to name a few.)

The dedication it takes to know and value God's Word like these women inspires me to confess what I lack. While at times, I may not have the diligence to meet with God or the wisdom to guide other young women, I still have the desire to follow Jesus Christ and the ability to see every sunrise as a new day to choose His plan instead of mine.

So for anyone else who has ever felt the daily tension between loving God and forfeiting time with Him, I want you to come with me through this year of reading and refreshment -- knowing full well that the role of a godly woman is to first seek after Jesus.

Thanks for visiting!
